ABOUT ME

I am a Certified Vaidic Jyotishi, Astrologer, and Vastu Consultant, trained under the Art of Living Jyotisha Academy and later at the esteemed Indian Council of Astrological Sciences (ICAS), founded by Dr. B.V. Raman. I hold the titles of Jyotisha Praveena, Jyotisha Visharda, Vastu Praveena, and Vastu Acharya, and I am currently honored to serve as a faculty member at ICAS.

I strongly believe that when we understand our strengths, we can harness them, and when we recognize our weaknesses, we can consciously work to improve them. This deeper insight—“Playing with Planets”—comes through truly knowing them and aligning with their energies.

My role as an Astrologer and Vastu Consultant is to guide you toward clarity and purpose by helping you align with the right path by achieving Goals and success and best in life.

What is Vedic Astrology?

Vedic Astrology, also known as Jyotish Shastra, is an ancient Indian system of astrology that originates from the Vedas, the sacred scriptures of India. Jyotisha is one of the six Vedangas (limbs of the Vedas) and is often referred to as the "eyes of the Vedas", as it helps us perceive and understand the divine cosmic order.

Sage Parashara Rishi is considered the father of Indian Vedic astrology. Jyotisha is not merely a predictive tool but a divine science, deeply rooted in spiritual principles.

In this system, the Moon holds the most significant position, as it is closely associated with the mind and emotions. The entire Vedic astrology framework revolves around the Moon, unlike Western astrology, which places primary emphasis on the Sun. The Moon's position at the time of birth is central to chart analysis, determining the Janma Rashi (Moon sign) and influencing one’s mental makeup and life path.

North Indian Style Chart

Horoscopes can be drawn in both North Indian and South Indian styles, with the same rules and concepts applying to both. There are 12 zodiac signs (Rashis) or houses in a horoscope chart.

In the North Indian style chart, the 1st house (Ascendant) is fixed at a particular position and is represented by the number of the zodiac sign that was rising in the east at the time of birth. The remaining houses are arranged accordingly.

In contrast, the South Indian style chart has the zodiac signs fixed in position, starting from Aries (Mesha) and arranged clockwise. Here, the Ascendant (Lagna) is marked within the corresponding zodiac sign.
